Warden's distraction combined with Heightened Spell

If Ariel cast a Heightened spell causing disadvantage on the saving throw with Warden's distraction causing a -8 on that same saving throw! My spell casting DC is 16
[8(base) +3(proficiency) +5(charisma)]

Depending on the target saving throw bonus, requiring a 20 to resist would not be uncommon. Making that saving throw becomes 1 in 400! Melody can cause disadvantage on charm saves using her Instrument of the Bard with the same probabilities.

Warden's distraction combined with a disadvantage on a saving throw!

I probably misunderstood this. Mark kept saying 4.5 and I kept thinking 8. This is not a -8 on the save but -1d8. Doh.
